Francine´s Delgado Biography
Francine is a Costa Rican-born, Canadian artist with over a decade of experience in the animation and entertainment industry. As an Art Director, Character Designer, Sequential Artist, and Cover Artist, she has led visual development for major projects with Disney and Mattel, including Barbie, and contributed to animated hits like The Addams Family, Mega Man: Fully Charged, Monster High, and Blaze and the Monster Machines.
Her comic work spans cover art and storytelling for titles such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (IDW), Gatchaman and Flash Gordon (Mad Cave), and Legendary: Black Widow (Marvel Upper Deck), along with various graphic novels and collectibles.
Passionate about education and mentorship, Francine has taught at Vancouver Film School and Universidad Creativa and has been a featured speaker at events like the 2023 Vancouver Animation School conference.
