Edwin Poon's Biography: I am a highly creative and technically skilled Supervising and Series Director with over 20 years of experience in the Animation industry. I specialize in directing, storytelling, and both traditional and digital animation, with a strong sense of timing, action, and character performance. Known for leading teams and managing productions that consistently meet deadlines and surpass client expectations.
Most recently, I served as Series Director for an upcoming Disney Junior/Disney+ series launching in January 2025. My past work includes award-winning series such as Bossy Bear, Tom and Jerry in New York, The Hollow, Nerds and Monsters, My Little Pony, Packages from Planet X, and the WB feature Teen Titans Go! To the Movies.
I began my career as a digital painter on the WB feature Looney Tunes: Back in Action and have taught animation at (Vancouver Animation School (VANAS), Capilano University, Vancouver Film School, and the Vancouver Institute of Media Arts.).
